I paid the amount in full. The contractor issued me a release of lien. I went to record the release but was told by the Recorder that I need a notarized copy. The contractor is telling me I am responsible for the cost of the notary to notarize the document of lien release. Is this true? Please help.Chuck TAnnernoreply@blogger.com
